I've always been an artist, I used to draw from when I was a kid till I was in high school.  But I got out of the scene and started looking to new and exciting things.  Enter Photography.   Photography has always excited me and in the last few years I finally decided to try my own hand at it.  I'd always admired alot of photography, but never really got around to getting a camera.  I started out cheap and bought a low end point and shoot digital camera.  After taking a few pictures I really liked, I was hooked.  I started constantly taking pictures and soon began to feel limited by my crappy point and shoot.  At this point a very good friend of mine (Thanks!!!) let me borrow his Olympus E-10 on my vacation to Puerto Rico and I had a revelation deep out in the El Yunque Rainforest.  I was in love with photography!  After getting back from Puerto Rico, I was able to borrow the E-10 for a bunch of motorsports events and really enjoyed it.  At the same time my parents bought a better digital than I had, so of course I had to "borrow" that camera for extended periods of time.  It was while I was borrowing that camera I discovered night photography.  After playing with that for a while, it started becoming apparent that this camera just wasn't cutting it anymore.  Now I needed a better camera that could keep up with me.  I started looking around and Canon happened to premiere the Digital Rebel at the right moment.  So, after saving up for it for a few months, I am now the proud owner of a Canon Digital Rebel.  A hobby (obsession) begins!   My new goal is to throw myself into photography and get really into it.  I hope to be a professional shooter someday.  But who knows where this will take me, for now, I'm having a blast!
