This is my car. A 2000 VW GTI VR6. It's my other passion. I've got alot of plans for it, with concentration on handling. It'll be quite the fun car when I get done with it. I've had it for 2 years now and it's slowly coming along. I plan on autocrossing and taking this thing to the track every chance I get. I just recently dropped almost $2500 into it for a new clutch, brakes, wheels and tires, and a new Optima battery. That was alot to handle financially all at once, but the end result was totally worth it. All things considered, I got damn good deals on everything. HUGE props to Dani and Charles @ Bugformance for getting me going again with a new clutch. As for the wheels, even though they are only OEM 17 inch Monte Carlos, they are new to me, and I think they make my car look so much better than those old 16 inchers. Keep checking back every once in a while as every time I do some new stuff to the car I'll update it here...
Finally updating this... I now have an H&R Cup Kit and my suspension has never felt better. I recently went on a road trip with a few friends and got to really put it to the test and I have to say, it passed with flying colors. I also finally got a set of wheels that I absolutely love- Flik Wasps. The set the car off so much. I'm getting closer to done with this thing, all I have left are a few body parts, a few more engine parts and some other miscellaneous stuff. But then I guess a project like this is never done, eh?
